Job Description

We’re looking for a Cards Operations Specialist in Tallinn. The role sits under the Spend Issuance Operations team within the Payment Operations Organisation area.

By ensuring high level execution of the daily responsibilities and consistently supporting Spend Issuance Ops in reaching the SLA’s, Cards Operations Specialists ensure we provide seamless card production and delivery to our customers. The role gives a unique opportunity to learn how we manufacture cards in different regions, and the various delivery methods we offer to our customers.

You will be part of the Spend Issuance Ops mission to create a scalable and secure stock management process and provide our customers with a reliable and transparent card delivery experience. By extension, as part of the Spend Product squad, you will join the mission to give our customers a reliable, easy to use and eventually free way to spend like a local anywhere in the world.

Here’s how you’ll be contributing to the Operations Team:

  • Maintaining consistent and high level execution of recurring responsibilities to ensure zero disruption to production and delivery SLAs
  • Meeting individual SLA's and KPI's set for the role
  • Supporting own team in reaching main performance metrics targets and SLA's set to Operations organisation
  • Following operational procedures and keeping track of critical updates
  • Work closely with external partners to ensure they remain accountable as a service provider
  • Processing of partners’ invoices within deadlines
  • Detecting and escalating domain-related problems and complex issues, ensuring timely and relevant communication with stakeholders
  • Support launching of new products/partners set-up, testing and launches from operational side with Product teams
  • Help translate customer needs into plans and support it with analysis and contextual data.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Make an Impact - You’ll help to identify and automate manual processes that complicate our customers’ lives, while increasing the efficiency of the whole operations organisation, driving us towards Mission Zero!
  • Challenge Yourself - You’ll be working with teams that face complex situations. You get the chance to question the norm and drive to make things happen instead of wondering why things happened. Through that you can learn more about yourself and what you are capable of when given the right tools and mentoring.
  • Inspire Teams - You’ll fuel the revolution with your ideas, knowledge, self-starter attitude, and customer insight, which you’ll use to work with product development engineers and other operational teams to help solve our customer’s problems!
  • Work Globally - You’ll work closely with internal and external partners and help to figure out ways to make our customers’ lives better. We’re 5500+ Wisers with 125+ nationalities located in offices from Tampa to Tokyo, and much like our product, we operate without borders across teams and locations. We get it done!

Qualifications

  • You have excellent written and verbal English and Portuguese skills
  • You’re meticulous and accurate in your task execution
  • You’re SLA driven and are motivated to hit team and personal metrics
  • You place customers first and you make no compromise on this
  • You’re comfortable with feedback and being part of a team where ideas are shared and openness is valued;
  • You’re proactive and collaborative
  • You’re a clear and honest communicator and able to articulate potential improvements
  • You are flexible with your working hours to work with teams in different time zones. We aim to help our global customers any time they need it, occasionally public holidays.

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

  • You have basic data skills and know where to find the supporting data for your projects. Before you start a project you understand what success looks like and track your progress towards this vision.
