Wise is one the fastest growing companies in Europe and we’re on a mission: to make money without borders the new normal. We’ve got 16 million customers across the globe and we’re growing. Fast.
Current banking systems don’t let us send, spend or receive money across borders easily. Or quickly. Or cheaply.
So, we’re building a new one.
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst who is passionate about our mission of Money Without Borders to partner with a global People Services team to drive data-based decision-making and deliver impactful insights.
People Services is made up of 6 functions covering People Operations, People Risk and Compliance, Employee Relations, Payroll, People Technology and Business Operations Support Services with a vision to drive fast, convenient, transparent Wise support, powered by smart tech and human advice. You’ll work with these teams to help build out their data assets, drive data-based decision-making using advanced analytics, and ensure robust measurement of the impact of the work.
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing People Analytics function and drive actionable insights within a People team that is serious about using data to shape the focus of its work.
Here’s how you’ll be contributing:
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the People Services team to solve key business questions and hypotheses, employing consulting techniques to prioritise analytical projects effectively according to impact.
- Aggregate data from a range of our People systems to derive actionable insights spanning People Services. Use the power of storytelling to deliver recommendations that empower the team to make informed decisions.
- Support the development and implementation of the People Services KPI tree and the target-setting framework (including SLAs), integrating these within reporting pipelines and our strategic projects.
- Embed analytical thinking and assessment into our People projects and initiatives; working with your project manager partner to lead the prioritisation of projects in People Services and measure their subsequent impact
- Apply advanced analytics and data science techniques to help drive operational efficiency in a shared service environment.
- Provide critical insights to assess the operational health of the People Services function, conducting detailed analysis of operational metrics to understand the impact on our Wisers’ experiences.
- Work with our People Risk & Compliance SME to develop and track our Key Risk Indicators for the People Function.
- Play a role in upskilling the analytical capabilities of the People Tribe at scale, and correctly interpreting People data from our self-serve dashboards and People Analytics products
- Work across our full People Analytics tool stack, building out our data infrastructure, working with Snowflake APIs and complex data sets, and using advanced analytics tools (including Visier) to gain insights and solve complex problems
- You have a track record in scoping, building, and delivering impactful People Analytics solutions with particular experience working with an Operational People (HR) team.
- You are an excellent communicator, able to tell compelling stories from complex data and drive action from your analysis.
- You have experience with designing and owning data assets; you can build and maintain complex data sources and can leverage visualisation tools to democratise data.
- You have stakeholder management skills; you know how to partner with senior stakeholders and work cross functionally.
- You are proficient with SQL and know your way around data pipeline management tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Git, Airflow.
- You have experience in advanced analytics & data sciences (e.g. ML, AI) techniques using R and/or Python.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
