This role will be based out of our London office alongside our Europe and UK product team. While we appreciate the flexibility of remote working, being co-located in London is essential for effective teamwork and strategy development.
Your Mission:
In this role, you'll be working as part of the Europe and UK regional team. This role will focus on building and improving Wise payment rails in Central Europe and the UK. You will work closely with the banking team to understand local payment schemes and work with engineering to build direct integrations with them. You will be responsible for Key Performance Indicators for our money movement infrastructure in Central Europe and the UK. You will work on improving speed, lowering cost and reducing friction for customers when they move money in the region.
Your Role:
Own the efficiency and resilience of money movement rails in the UK and Central Europe
Identify key opportunities to enhance money movement infrastructure, helping customers move money instantly, with minimum costs and friction
Own the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the transfer product in the region, including cross currency and same currency payments
Build a comprehensive roadmap that significantly improves the transfer experience for customers
Work closely with banking partners, central banks and internal teams to establish direct access to payment schemes
Set best practices for how Wise implements direct access to payment systems

Skills That Might Describe You:
Experience building technically complex products working closely with engineers.
Strong analytical ability to understand complex payment systems and identify improvement opportunities
Ability to zoom out and understand big picture and how their work improves customer experience in general
Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and ability to unblock themselves.
Bonus if you have experience working with banking partners, central banks or payment schemes
Our Offer
Base salary: £83,000 - £110,000 / annually base (based on experience & interview outcomes)
