Role/Programme:
As an Analytics Intern, you’ll join our Analytics team in the summer for 10 weeks in the summer (3rd June - 8th August 2025). During this time, you will work on 1-2 Analytical projects and use them to propose your own ideas to take your team further, doing what’s best for our customers.
You'll be a part of the Regional North America Analytics squad where you will:
Be a strategy partner to Regional North America product managers and engineers to help shape the future of the North America Wise product
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, bankers, as well as global analytics teams, to foster innovative solutions and gain a comprehensive understanding of the product.
Assist in building and optimizing data infrastructure and pipelines using tools like dBt, Snowflake, Looker, and Superset that support strategic, data-driven decisions for the team.
We are looking for 2 interns to join us for the programme in Austin, so you’ll be a part of one of the following teams:
NorthAm Verification team: to understand and enhance KYC/KYB (Know Your Customer / Know Your Business) experience for customers. Here you will identify and address customer pain points in the verification funnel, contributing strategies to streamline the onboarding process and enhance user experience.
NorthAm Wise Account team: to improve the infrastructure that empowers millions of customers to seamlessly manage their finances across borders. Here you will help the team address friction in adopting and using features such as USD local account details (that help customers receive USD to their Wise account) and interest/assets (that help customers earn a return on money held with Wise).
In this role, you will:
Collaborate cross-functionally to shape and build our product
Carry out data analysis using various statistical methods and tools to help us prioritise the most significant changes. All with the help of other senior analysts that will support you during your journey
Collaborate with other stakeholders in the team and have the opportunity to share your ideas, working on projects that will be the most impactful for our customers
You are a penultimate or final year student (graduating in 2025 or 2026) from a Bachelors or Masters degree potentially in Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science, STEM or Economics/Business/Finance. However, a degree in a technical field is not a must as our selection process prioritises your skills.
You are able to start a 10 weeks internship from 3 June
You enjoy using numbers and data visualisation to tell a story
You used coding to solve problems before and have some experience with using SQL, Python, R. That could be during your studies or as part of a personal project you’re passionate about!
You’re curious, keen to learn and proactive by nature
You’re open to and value feedback in order to improve
Don’t worry, we don’t expect you to know everything!
Eligible to work in the US without any sponsorship (now or in the future - please note that we can only move forward with people who are either US citizens or Green card holders.)
Available to work in our local Austin office at least twice per week to support your development
🏠 You will have flexibility in how and where you work. We understand everyone needs a little something different - so we’ll do our best to make it happen, but we recommend coming to the office as much as possible in your first weeks!
💸 Gross salary of $76,000/year (pro-rata)
🏢 Fun and creative offices with social activities
