We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Corporate Treasury Team. Your key responsibilities evolve around the development, implementation and execution of Wise’s Bank Account & Access Management (BAAM) framework so that the risks around bank accounts and user accesses are monitored in a sound environment. You will play a key role in the daily operation of BAAM to ensure effective execution of the processes and controls over bank account and user access management at Wise. Your work is very cross-functional hence a high level of cross-team collaboration with a high number of stakeholders is critical. There is an opportunity that this role will advance to be the central process owner of BAAM at Wise.
What You’ll Be Doing:
● Maintain complete and accurate records of our counterparties, bank accounts, authorised signatories and user accesses in the relevant systems
● Work closely with other stakeholders such as Payment Operations, Treasury, Banking teams to ensure effective execution of the BAAM process and be the first point of contact for BAAM related matters
● Review BAAM tickets and requests and ensure they are closed appropriately in a timely manner
● Work closely with engineers to ensure the soundness of the systems involved in BAAM and overall operating environment
● Prepare weekly reporting materials around BAAM operations
● Continue to enhance the current BAAM processes to improve its user friendliness and relevancy
● Maintain the BAAM process materials and contents such as user guide, flowcharts, and risk and control matrix to ensure they are up to date
● Liaise with wider stakeholder group to tackle complex situations or new types of implementation
● Lead the BAAM bi-annual review of accounts, user accesses and signatories to ensure complete and quality documentation
● Liaise with internal and external auditors to address any audit requests and queries
● Support Corporate Treasury function on other ad-hoc projects when required
What we are looking for:
● At least 4 years of experience in corporate treasury or bank account management
● In depth understanding of treasury operational risk management and treasury best practices
● Experience in opening & closing bank accounts for an organisation and managing user accesses and authorised signatories
● A candidate with financial audit or control testing experience
● Experience in managing multiple bank accounts (500+) across different regions and setting up a control governance framework.

● Critical thinking with ability to identify potential risks in a given situation
● Great attention to detail and problem solving skill
● Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise and work to meet tight deadlines
● Ability to establish good relationships across the organisation and build an effective working atmosphere with teams like Banking, Treasury, Finance and Payment Operations
● Strong communications skills, verbal and written, including ability to summarise key messages
● Ability to process data using Microsoft Excel and produce presentation using Power Point is essential
● Basic knowledge in data querying and visualisation including SQL, Excel VBA and Snowflake is preferable
● Relevant professional qualifications such as ACT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA are desirable but not mandatory
