We are looking to hire a Finance Manager, APAC to join our APAC Regional Finance team in Singapore. 

You will assist in growing our finance capabilities to steer the organisation in the right direction ensuring compliance with local accounting, regulatory and tax requirements.

Your Mission:

• Work with Accounting, Regulatory Reporting team, Regional Controllers, Risk & Compliance teams to help deliver compliant and accurate reporting with clear definitions and change management.
• Compile monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for submitting to regulatory authorities. Support with ad-hoc financial reporting requests.
• Work with the Compliance team and Regional Controllers to provide financial data during regulatory examinations and financial audits.
• Help the APAC Regional Finance team in performing day-to-day overview of legal entities, including analysing financial results and making sure necessary financial controls are performed.
• Work with other finance teams to ensure systems, controls and processes are prepared for regional requirements.

Must Haves:

• 6 years of experience in financial controlling, audit, reporting or management accounting
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS and strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience working with large datasets and building financial reports

Good to have:

• Excellent communication skills for dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Advanced financial reporting and analysis skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines and organise own work
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, Financial Reporting, Control environment and Technical accounting (IFRS)
• Passion for Wise's mission and ability to work in a fast-paced, uncertain environment
• Self-starter with ability to take responsibility and work independently
• Keen to learn and improve skills in finance and fintech
