Job Description
We are hiring for two Finance Analysts to support our Servicing and Marketing departments respectively.
Your mission:
Your mission is to support developing our understanding of business performance, helping accelerate progress in scaling costs and maximising investment and returns in growth.
You’ll achieve this by supporting the Senior Finance Business Partners, through ownership and enhancement of reporting processes, support in coordinating forecasting processes and providing insights via analysis that drives teams to take action.
This role gives a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get familiar with the inner workings of our organisations and apply analytical skills to drive impact.
This role will give you the opportunity to:
Play a crucial role – in using data to help manage Wise’s financial growth sustainably and shape financial strategy to optimise growth investment and cost management within the Marketing and Servicing departments.
Partner with Department leads - to help them understand their performance, cost base and assist them with decision making.
Own your own path to success – you’ll have a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
Learn and grow – there’s a lot to be done!
Produce insightful reporting for teams, tracking actuals and identifying risks and opportunities against forecasts.
Help coordinate the monthly and annual forecasting process, whose inputs feed directly into the prices charged to Wise customers.
Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and scale operational and reporting processes
These two departments have very different challenges and targets.
As the Servicing Finance analyst you will have the the opportunity to:
Work closely with leads and the vendor procurement team to forecast vendor and travel costs.
Review operational metrics to assess how each team is contributing to cost and identifying the underlying drivers
Support in reviewing teams’ internal and external headcount plans, ensuring assumptions are reasonable.
As the Marketing Finance Analyst you will have the opportunity to:
Produce analysis and reporting for a range of internal and external stakeholders, providing insights on marketing growth drivers.
Reporting on our Return of Investment on marketing spend whilst identifying investment risks and opportunities.
Support with Financial analysis and business partnering on strategic projects across the Marketing tribe, unlocking investment to fuel growth.

You are legally eligible to work in the UK (we don't offer visa support for this role).
You should have the following skills:
You are passionate about what we’re building at Wise;
You love digging in data, numbers, thinking systematically, and analysing inter-dependencies;
You are a strong communicator: articulate, clear, strategic – with the ability to influence senior stakeholders;
You are keep to roll up your sleeves and get the job done, as we all still handle our own Excel tasks;
You are humble, comfortable operating with a level of uncertainty, keen to learn. You are firm and forceful when required.
You are able to operate to defined timelines while bringing together a diverse stakeholder group;
You are able to work across multiple teams, offices, time-zones (and travel when needed!) with flexibility and a can-do attitude.
You get bonus points for:
Having a working knowledge of Anaplan & Workday.
Knowing basic SQL for extracting data for reporting & analysis.
You have experience with procurement teams/third party vendor management (Servicing).
You have experience in forecasting headcount, both internal and outsourced. (Servicing).
You have experience with return on investment/payback calculations (Marketing).
