Job Description
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with focus on Frontend with experience using React & TypeScript to join our Product Discovery team.
The Product Discovery team is the shop window to the world of Wise. The team vision is to make Wise the obvious choice for anyone who needs to move & manage money internationally. As part of our team, you will help make sure that our pages are reliable, up to date and performant to give the best experience to our customers.

The ability to work independently and plan your own solutions to problems
Thinking from the customer perspective and putting them at the heart of everything you do as you’ll guide them from their first experience on our landing page to completing a transfer and making sure they’re informed every step of the way
What the first six months in this role will look like:
- You’ll have onboarded and found your place through understanding your team, squad and guild vision and how you can contribute
- Understanding the Wise product, fintech space and our tech culture
- You’ll have fully developed new features, from planning to release, and keep monitoring their adoption once live
- Gone through two quarterly plannings and proposed ideas to take your product further
Qualifications
Is that you?
- You have at least 2+ years of experience working with modern frontend frameworks, ideally React (with Typescript)
- You have experience working with backend languages and REST APIs
- Understanding of good UX and comfortable working with CSS
- Desire for creating clean, testable code
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non-engineers
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional peers in your team such as designers, product managers, analysts, researchers, etc.
It would be a bonus if you also have:
- Experience with frontend SSR frameworks such as Next.js
- Experience with backend languages such as Java and SpringBoot or similar.
- Experience working with modern testing tooling such as Jest, Storybook, Cypress or similar. …but don’t worry we don’t expect you to know everything!
