This is a 2-year fixed term contract position based in Kuala Lumpur.
As our business expands, we’re looking for a Know-Your-Customer (KYC) Area Lead to lead our growing KYC Operations Team and ensure we continue delivering exceptional service to our customers.
As a KYC Area Lead, you’ll play a critical role in driving operational excellence, building a high-performance team, and ensuring our processes are efficient, scalable, and customer-focused. Here’s how you’ll contribute:
- Direct and manage our KYC teams, including their objectives and initiatives.
- Be responsible for our KYC teams’ productivity, quality and staffing in accordance to required demand.
- Implement policies and procedures that continuously improve the utilisation, quality and cost efficiency of our KYC teams, in collaboration with Wise Central Functions.
- Manage resource allocation decision-making and planning for KYC Senior Team Leads.
- Aligns KYC teams’ operations activities and initiatives to support and enhance the objectives of the wider KYC Organisation.
- Ensures adherence to Regional, Global KYC and Wise operational standards.
- Create operational strategies and specific objectives for the sub-functions and run local budgets/policies/procedures to support the operational infrastructure.
- Approves and participates in developing Wise culture, process and performance improvements for our KYC teams.
- Leading Wise KYC in Kuala Lumpur to ensure its appropriate staffing, employee engagement and full compliance with local country regulations.
