Company Description

The Learning and Development Specialist has the main responsibility of coordinating the work of Learning Partners and Product owners within the People and Organisational Development Team. This role maintains and distributes the knowledge and information within the team and keeps track of progress, monitors and evaluates the quality of the output of each team into the business (where applicable in partnership with People Analytics) supporting the overall objectives of the People and Organisational Development team. 

 


Job Description

FACILITATION & CONSULTATION (50%)

  • Regularly facilitate key products such as Company Onboarding (COB) as well as other ad hoc events such as team offsites.

  • Maintain regular communication with Onboarding, LED, Leadership, Talent & Performance Management teams in order to create and update a common calendar and information database (i.e. Talent Development Wiki page, Talent Development initiatives calendar) with a broad, in-depth overview of the team activities.

  • Attend and actively contribute to key team meetings where needed, including coordination and management of the  Talent Development fortnightly updates. 

  • Participate and be a strategic partner for every relevant cross-team project (such as Learning Festival, Functional Onboarding, Organisational Development, etc.) representing the Talent Development team as necessary with external stakeholders in a coordinating function.  

  • Create and maintain vendors database, as well as a shared space for useful resources for the team as relevant (i.e. Shared Drive, Learning resources, templates, useful decks, etc.) 

  • Maintain the Talent Development Wiki page, Talent Development Inbox and keep it updated with useful information for all our external stakeholders.

QA & EVALUATION (30%)

  • Creating resources and frameworks to evaluate and develop feedback around the various initiatives carried out by the Talent Development teams, prepare presentations and newsletters as needed and offer advice and recommendations as required (ex. monitoring feedback for any training delivered, collating feedback on onboarding, talent development, etc.)

  • Drive utilisation of evaluation and performance data to support data-driven learning solutions in partnership with all other Talent Development teams. 

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS (10%):

  • Take part in the design and delivery of training initiatives, whether face to face or on our learning platforms and contribute to the support of our external stakeholders. 

  • Take an active role in projects and initiatives that might need additional support across the Talent Development team (i.e. Assisting with the launch of GrowWise in a specific function, Support with onboarding, etc.)

DEVELOPMENT (10%):

  • Takes part in offered training initiatives that develop skills which are needed in this position.

  • Shows initiative to take on additional learning opportunities that would help them develop their skills.

 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (or equivalent experience), ideally related to adult learning or business management.

Previous Experience: 

  • 3+ years of Learning and Development or Training experience within a service-oriented company.

DESIRABLE SKILLS, BEHAVIOURS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong proficiency in project management and design thinking.

  • Ability to take a consultative approach using creative analytical and problem solving skills to create bespoke solutions.

  • Confident processing data and designing data presentations.

  • Organised, detail-focussed and capable of working under pressure while maintaining rigour and precision.

  • Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple teams, offering opportunities to connect and work together.

  • Experienced working in virtual international environments with hybrid teams.

  • Excellent English; other languages requested in certain locations.

  • Willingness to contribute to projects and initiatives outside of one's own domain, collaborating with other team members to achieve common goals.

  • A passion for organising, processing and using data and general information to facilitate workflows and the success of team projects. 

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate large scale projects.

  • High attention to detail, passion for high quality and visual appeal.
