Job Description

We’re looking for a Payment Operations Learning & Development Specialist to join the Training team in Tallinn. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission, grow exponentially  and help our customers to save more money.

Your mission: 

This role is an opportunity to help drive something really meaningful - assess and develop high-quality training sessions across all Payment Operations teams in an efficient and scalable manner by utilising adult learning principles and L&D methodologies. You will work on designing the training sessions to enable the learning mindset and entrust all ninjas beyond their tasks so that every participant gains more empowerment.

End result will be higher customer retention and happiness rate contributing to mission zero.

This role will give you an opportunity to:

  • Utilise adult learning principles and different L&D methodologies in improving the impact measurement of existing courses by proposing, designing and executing experiments connected to learning
  • Employ project management skills and tools to manage multiple medium to large-scale projects from analysis through delivery concurrently.
  • Measure impact and quickly revise content/modality to address specific feedback, as needed.
  • Lead the evaluation of learning initiatives and continue to build data sets to inform and guide the learning experience strategy.
  • Work closely with People and Organisational Development, Knowledge Management, Quality and Payment Operations teams to invest high-quality onboarding and training experience to all PayOps levels
  • Collaborate and support PayOps teams in multiple locations
  • Manage your own schedule to accommodate training needs

Qualifications

  • You're based in Tallinn, Estonia and have a right to work here. We don't support visa nor relocation support for this role.
  • You've excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You're comfortable with uncertainty and unpredictable environments, flexible and adaptable to business needs.
  • You're a self-starter, proactively identifying/anticipating any blockers, challenges and opportunities and figuring out the solutions.
  • You're feedback and solution oriented - you find opportunities and improve training modules
  • You translate training needs for existing and new employees into actionable training plans, backing it up with data analysis where needed
  • You've strong project management skills, design thinking and L&D methodologies - you're able to identify, plan, apply and challenge different strategies and techniques to achieve learning objectives considering audience, topic and circumstances
  • You've effective presentation skills - you clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message

  • You're flexible to work across multiple time zones and willing to travel to other office locations
