Salary: SGD 120,000 - 135,000 annually + RSU
Your mission is to help the millions of Wise customers in APAC throughout the entire customer lifecycle. The focus will be on Australia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand and Singapore.
Working with software engineering teams in Singapore, you will look after:
- Increasing payment processing automation rates,
- Maximising funnel conversion rates for APAC customers, and
- Ensuring the product is compliant with regulatory obligations
Projects the team will be focusing on include:
- Launching the ability for Australian customers to earn a return on the hundreds of millions of dollars they hold with Wise
- Making it easier for business customers in Singapore to get verified while staying compliant
- Building an API integration with a bank in Japan to make payments faster, cheaper and to build redundancy in our infrastructure
Apart from other APAC PMs and engineers, key stakeholders include:
- Global product-engineering teams:
- Teams based in Europe build the core Wise experience that the APAC team builds on top of. If you need changes made in the core product, it will be your job to paint a clear picture of your vision and the associated impact, and to guide the global teams to realise that vision.
- Commercial-focussed teams that:
- Own vendor (e.g. banking partner, verification provider) relationships
- Sell the Wise product to banks and other large businesses
- Regulatory and financial crime compliance-focused colleagues
- Operations colleagues in payments processing, verification, customer support and financial crime operations

Be on the forefront of technical and consumer change. Wise aims to make moving money as cheap as sending an email. By building a well-oiled money moving machine we are able to build a fast, cheap and convenient product for our customers and keep the finance industry on their toes.
Ideal candidate has:
- 3 years of experience as a Product Manager in a decision-heavy environments
- An analytical mindset: Skilled at making decisions with data, both through working with analysts and running your their own SQL
- Commercial acumen: Aligns decisions to the big picture. Isn’t afraid of saying no to small opportunities

Assessing impact and prioritisation
- You are able to assess a large problem space and emerge with a crisp, prioritised work plan
- You are deeply curious and that feeds into how you prioritise - You love figuring out ‘why’, and don’t just focus on ‘what’ and ‘how’ to build product.
Strong analytical skills
- You have an intuitive understanding of numbers and you gravitate to using them in daily decision-making.
- You are comfortable working with analysts and give them useful feedback on their analysis.
- Plus: You are comfortable analysing large datasets to draw insights on their own without analyst support.
Technical skills
- You are comfortable working with engineers and earning their trust.
- You are able to regularly unblock engineers in their decisions and have confidence to suggest alternative solutions.
- You have an understanding of the development process and are able to spot when engineers need help and unblock them proactively.
Structured thinking and communication
- You are able to break down an ambiguous problem into clear actionable steps.
- You are able to build relationships with people in the organisation both within and outside your core teams
- You are able to create a positive working culture within your team. The team should feel inspired to work with you.
- Plus: experience working and negotiating with external partners.
- Plus: experience with payments and/or regulatory/fincrime landscape
Entrepreneurial
- You have a track record of getting things done.
- You are comfortable taking on complex projects requiring support from different teams and functions and getting them to the finish line.
