We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Programme Manager to support the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in driving strategic initiatives and managing day-to-day operations within the Risk Department. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of risk management and contribute to the success of the organisation.
Your mission:
Drive Strategic Implementation: Lead the execution of risk department strategies by providing essential support with documentation, quarterly team planning, and coordination across the global risk team. Attend key meetings with the CRO, ensuring outcomes, actions, and projects are documented and communicated promptly.
- Strategic Forums: Facilitate Strategic Forums: Orchestrate strategic forums and meetings led by the CRO, ensuring seamless execution and active participation from relevant stakeholders. This includes agenda planning, logistical coordination, and post-meeting follow-up.
Quarterly Team Planning: Take ownership of running and delivering successful quarterly planning sessions for the risk department, including content coordination, facilitation and post planning follow ups.
Project Management: Manage key projects and initiatives on behalf of the CRO, including coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking milestones, ensuring timely execution and report generation.
Productivity enhancements: Implement workday or equivalent tooling to streamline administrative processes, track individual as well as team performance, and enhance team productivity and transparency. Likewise proactively identifying and driving implementation of impactful enhancements to BAU operations within the department.
Communication Support: Assist the CRO in generating regular communication to stakeholders. This includes drafting memos, reports, and presentations to communicate key risk-related information effectively. Also working closely with risk leads to streamline and enhance the content organisation of the risk department.
Meeting Management: Take ownership of ensuring meetings chaired by the CRO are efficiently run by meticulously planning and organising all aspects of the meeting process. This includes:
Agenda Preparation: Collaborate with the CRO to develop clear and concise agendas for upcoming meetings, outlining topics, objectives, and expected outcomes.
Audience Coordination: Identify and coordinate the attendance of relevant stakeholders for each meeting, ensuring that key decision-makers and subject matter experts are present.
Decision Dependencies: Identify any dependencies of decisions to be made during the meeting and ensure that all necessary information, data, and inputs are available beforehand.
Pre-Reads: Distribute pre-read materials, documents, and reports to participants in advance of the meeting, allowing sufficient time for review and preparation.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise messages for diverse audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Previous experience in risk management or operations is highly desirable with at least basic understanding of risk management function
- Experience in coordinating and facilitating meetings and forums, with a focus on driving engagement and achieving objectives
- Working knowledge of tools such as Workday, Google Office suite (Docs, Sheets and PPT) and Slack preferred
- Proven experience in agenda planning, meeting coordination, and facilitation, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
