We are looking for a Strategic Project Manager to join our Risk & Controls team to support with delivery of cross-functional risk mitigation and process improvement projects.
As a Strategic Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of high impact and complex cross functional projects, driving organisational efficiency, effectiveness and risk mitigation through the optimization and enhancement of existing processes across functions within Servicing Operations.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead process improvement initiatives, from initial discovery and analysis through to implementation and monitoring. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, - eg. Product teams, Operational teams and other supporting functions like Core Compliance, Knowledge Management, Quality - and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline workflows, and drive positive change across the organisation. Your strategic insights and project management expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with business objectives and contribute to overall operational excellence and minimised operational risk
In this role, you'll add to our mission by:
- Taking full ownership of strategic projects including prioritisation for impact and execution from initial scoping to final implementation
- Leading process optimization and redesign efforts to enhance organisational efficiency, effectiveness & risk mitigation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and gather requirements.
- Conducting thorough analysis and assessment of existing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements, to guide process improvement initiatives.
- Driving the execution of process improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Facilitating workshops, meetings, and discussions to engage stakeholders and gather input on process improvement initiatives.
- Utilising data analysis and reporting skills to measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process improvements.
- Implementing change management strategies to minimise resistance and maximise adoption of new processes and workflows.
- Providing regular updates and reports on project progress, milestones achieved, and challenges encountered to stakeholders and leadership.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation by promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
- You’re placed in Tallinn, Estonia and have a right to work here.
- You've experience in delivering complex projects in an operational environment.
- You've experience in process improvement, project management, or related roles, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering process optimization projects.
- You've strong analytical skills, and are able to analyse complex data sets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
- You've excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you're able to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- You've solid understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) and project management frameworks, Six Sigma qualification such as green belt or black belt preferred
- You're proficient in project management tools and software (e.g. Jira) and data analysis tools (e.g., Looker, Superset, Excel).
- You've strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
- You've experience in change management, with the ability to anticipate and address resistance to change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- You're proactive and results-driven, you have a passion for driving positive change and making a meaningful impact on organisational performance.
- You preferably have a certification in Project Management or Process Improvement (e.g Agile).
