We’re looking for a strategic and operationally-minded Business Operations & Support Services Team Lead to continue shaping our administrative community at Wise. This role will lead the newly formed Business Operations & Support Services (BOSS) team, made up of experienced Executive Assistants and support professionals. You'll focus on building structure, fostering collaboration, and scaling impact through process improvement and community engagement.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Set the vision, clear goals and expectations for the team, partnering with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with their needs and the organization.
Lead and develop a team of senior administrative professionals, providing mentorship, coaching, professional development support, and overseeing performance management.
Identify opportunities for key team process improvement across onboarding, workflows, and tooling (e.g., AI tools like Credal or Gemini, Monday.com), as well as encouraging a continuous improvement culture within the team.
Collaborate closely with the People Services team to align on strategic initiatives and resource planning.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and standardization across EA support, creating frameworks that promote consistency and scale.
Support community-building efforts across the EA and administrative org, promoting inclusivity and peer-led mentorship.
Provide executive support to one of the senior leadership members e.g. Global Head of People Services.
About You:
You’re a highly experienced admin or ops leader with a passion for people and process.
You have experience leading people services or administrative support teams.
You’ve successfully led teams through change and growth and have experience in building a high-performance team and culture.
You’re comfortable setting structure from the ground up and making sense of ambiguity.
You’re collaborative, empathetic, and have a knack for bringing people together.
You have experience in change management, team development, and stakeholder engagement.
You’re comfortable working with senior leaders and aligning admin support with business strategy.
You act with total discretion and can be trusted with confidential and/or sensitive matters
