We’re looking for a proactive, data-driven Marketing Senior Manager who gets programmatic, app acquisition and YouTube advertising. This role is a unique opportunity to join a team who have been testing and learning while working closely with different ad platforms to help millions discover our app and web products and save money using Wise! The challenge is big and the learning curve is steep, but you’ll be well supported by a friendly and resilient team.
This position is based in London (with at least 2 days per week in office).
So what’s the role?
This is an all-round, hands-on performance marketing role — you’ll be leading, scaling, and executing on direct response campaigns, using your strategic, data analytics and creative skills to efficiently optimise activity, lead your people and drive growth globally.
Leading a team working on programmatic, YouTube, and app acquisition activity across platforms and regions.
Owning global P&L including all YouTube, app acquisition, and programmatic campaign performance in line with growth goals
Evaluating creative performance and working with our Creative team to produce best-in-class display and video ad content to get the Wise story out there
Ensuring testing processes are regularly being done (creative, landing page, multi-cell, ad copy and more).
Strong understanding of reporting dashboards and weekly/monthly reporting data, to contribute to wider team-based plans, presentations, and updates.
Making full use of automation solutions available, implementing processes and practices that maximise operational efficiencies whilst identifying opportunities for process improvement, and providing recommendations.
Working closely with analysts and marketing platform engineers to spot issues with data as well as opportunities to improve campaign performance
Working with other Performance Marketing channels to share insights and learnings to help maximise performance of campaigns and potentially uncover new opportunities.
You’ll love this role if you…
Have experience leading a team, running large, successful direct response programmatic video and display campaigns for a fast-growing business or agency, ideally across multiple markets and languages.
Have experience working with an MMM in your attribution
Are a team player with strong communication skills to help lead and drive others to become better at what they do
Have a strong analytical mindset. This means being very comfortable and confident in gathering actionable insights from data and explaining them clearly.
You are able to make autonomous decisions - You’ll have the autonomy to use what you know and learn to prioritise, take decisive actions and execute freely with the goal of improving performance
You are passionate about digital marketing and know what levers to pull when optimising a campaign against specific KPIs.
Have experience running YouTube, app, display and video ads on Google Ads
Have experience running programmatic mobile, display and/or video ads on a DSP
Are proactive and able to prioritise projects on impact, with a low level of supervision.
Additional skills we would value:
Experience with Looker, Tableau or a similar data visualisation tool
Experience running programmatic activity in-house or for a client running direct response campaigns with a bottom-funnel goal
Experience working in a fast-paced business
