Job Description

We are looking for a Social Strategist to join the Campaigns function of our PR team. This is a new, global role for a creative and ambitious person keen to bring best in class social execution to creative campaign ideas.

You will be a social media expert who understands how best to gain wide reach and engagement for campaign moments, while ensuring that work aligns with Wise’s wider marketing strategy and is clearly attributable to the brand.

Your work will focus on ensuring that ideas, from development to execution, are built to be social-first. That includes the core creative, in addition to engaging creators, partner accounts and media’s social pages. You will collaborate closely with the wider PR team, helping upskill the team’s social understanding, and work with teams across Wise’s marketing.

The role comes with the opportunity to travel to Wise’s regional hubs and long term career progression as we grow our earned campaigns work.


Qualifications

A bit about you 

  • Extensive experience in brand led social execution, with proven ability to generate wide reach and strong engagement - while landing the brand and executing central marketing strategy

  • Experience identifying and briefing creators - or, alternatively, experience working as one yourself

  • Deep understanding of social platforms, how to make content work across them, and proven ability to stay across algorithmic changes

  • Experience monetising social media followers

  • Able to ideate from brief, and turn creative ideas into reality

  • Able to work autonomously, managing projects end-to-end, including budget, timelines and deliverables

  • Able to influence, collaborate and upskill teams cross-functionally 

Nice-to-have 

  • Experience negotiating contracts and agreements with creators

  • Experience working across multiple markets, and sensitivities to difference by geography
