We are seeking an experienced and strategic Staff Product Analyst to join our Financial Crime team. This role is pivotal in driving the analytical strategy across our financial crime domains, including AML, Fraud, Screening, and KYC. As a Staff Product Analyst, you will leverage your expertise to conduct impact analysis, develop experimentation methodologies, and perform root cause analysis to enhance our risk management capabilities.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Impact Analysis: Lead the modelling of the cost of churn and other financial impacts of fincrime controls, providing insights to optimise our risk management strategies
Experimentation Methodologies: Develop and implement advanced experimentation methodologies and causal inference techniques to assess the effectiveness of fincrime controls and initiatives
Capacity and Demand Forecasting: Conduct capacity and demand forecasting to ensure our fincrime teams are equipped to handle current and future challenges effectively
Root Cause Analysis: Perform in-depth root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and opportunities within our fincrime processes and customer segments
Risk Exploration: Explore and analyze risk across different customer segments, providing actionable insights to enhance our risk mitigation strategies
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the AML, Fraud, Screening, and KYC teams to align analytical efforts with business objectives and drive data-driven decision-making
What You'll Bring:
Experienced analyst or data scientist who likes to operate with a high degree of autonomy in often ambiguous/diverse problem sets
Strong quantitative skills with a background in statistics, mathematics, or a related field
Able to demonstrate that you can tell a story and proactively give guidance on strategy based on insights
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence decision-making at a strategic level
Worked with C-level stakeholders and evidence building strong relationships at this level to achieve alignment on complex topics
Technical breadth as an analyst from insight generation, building data models, building reporting and executing testing (a/b testing, geo testing etc.)
(Desirable) Worked in fintech or a similar high growth industry
