More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior IC for our Regional Tribe who is passionate about our mission of Money Without Borders, to help us drive growth through targeted insights. This is a unique opportunity to work within the Regional Expansion Tribe, which is responsible for ensuring we have sufficiently localised product offerings in the markets we operate as well as expanding into entirely new markets, all while ensuring we maintain a very high bar for compliance!

The Tribe is unique in that it is distributed Globally across our hubs (Singapore, Austin, London, Tallinn, New York, Budapest) as well as smaller offices. It consists of the following squads: UK & Europe, APAC, NorthAm, LatAm and MEA and Regional Platform.

You’ll report to the Analytics Director in the Regional Expansion Tribe and work very closely with the Product, Engineering and Banking Leads for Regional Expansion Tribe, as well as the Squad leads across the globe. You’ll also be part of the Analytics community within Wise, giving you access to a global network of analytics professionals.

Qualifications

You will join the Regional Expansion tribe to help the organisation better understand growth trends across the Globe. You will do this by partnering very closely with other teams in Wise to help narrate a single, comprehensive growth ‘explainer’ as well as to proactively influence teams to take actions to mitigate growth risks or to capitalise on growth opportunities.

  • Diagnosing growth trends and identifying key opportunities to accelerate growth / mitigate growth declines

  • Developing and implementing growth prioritisation frameworks into Regional squads across the Globe

  • This role will also partner with other teams within Wise to consolidate a single, comprehensive growth narrative both Globally and Regionally.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Be part of a positive change in the world. Current banking systems don’t let us send, spend or receive money across borders easily. Or quickly. Or cheaply.  So we’re building a new one. Our mission is to make money without borders the new normal

  • Have a significant impact by shaping the next phase of analytics in a fast-paced, scaling, global company

  • Learn from a global network of professionals. We have a large, diverse team of analysts and data scientists that you will work with and learn from by being part of the Analytics community

  • Use all your experience and skills to bring new thinking and ideas to how we build an outstanding analytics function

A bit about you:

  • Experienced analyst who has used analytical insights to drive growth in fast-paced, scaling, global companies

  • Makes the complex simple by building and telling stories with data to effect positive change across organisations

  • Hands-on data manipulation and analysis experience including scripting/coding (and coaching others) in SQL and Python (or R)

  • Co-driven large-scale projects, helping to bring teams together to plan around problems with KPIs that make a difference

  • Would be amazing if you've practically used + applied AI / machine learning techniques and built predictive models to get deeper insight
