Job Description

Role/Programme:

As a Creative Design Intern, you’ll join our Brand, Creative and Strategy team in the summer. This is an exciting opportunity to kick start your career and make a meaningful impact. You will be joining us for 10 weeks in the summer (23rd June - 29th August 2025). You’ll be onboarded with the global internship cohort in one of our offices and learn the basics of being a Wiser.

In 2023, we founded a Design Interns programme and we’re delighted to welcome new talent to our award-winning team for a third season.

We are looking for rising stars to join our Design team. Design at Wise is a multidisciplinary team and we sometimes call it capital ‘D’ Design. While our craft is varied, human-centred design and design thinking unite us

How You’ll Make an Impact: In this role, you will:

  • You’ll get to know Wise customers, building empathy and deep understanding of their needs
  • You’ll be honing and flexing your craft skills in a collaborative environment
  • You’ll be connecting with your sponsor, fellow interns, and the broader design community to inject fresh creative thinking into the business.

Qualifications

About you:

  • You are graduating in 2026.
  • You are able to start a 10 weeks internship from June 23rd
  • The ability to contextualise and build a narrative around your work
  • Analytical, assessment and problem solving skills, you’re a proactive problem finder, not just a problem solver
  • An open attitude to feedback and willingness to learn
  • Foundational knowledge of the discipline you are applying for (we don’t expect you to know everything, but you need to have enough skill to navigate the organisation and work)
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom

What You’ll Bring:

  •  A portfolio that demonstrates good typography, layout and technical skills across brand and/or marketing
  • You love to understand the 'why' before diving head first into just making something 'look good'
  • Your design decisions are based on a rationale and you’re able to present and explain it to your teammates
  • You're developing a strong eye for detail. No mistakes in your portfolio please, so check it over a few times before sending across
  • We mainly use Figma over here. But don’t worry if you only have experience with Adobe Creative Suite, you'll be able to adapt
  • Nice to haves: Motion and 3D skills
