WiseStart Apprenticeship Program

Kickstart your career with a WiseStart Apprenticeship in Sao Paulo.

Wise is dedicated to developing the next generation of global talent. We've launched our Apprenticeship Program in Sao Paulo, Brazil to give motivated individuals a unique chance to grow professionally and personally within a supportive, international environment.

Why we're doing this

Our commitment to apprenticeships is a reflection of our core values and dedication to people development. We believe in providing opportunities that:

  • Align with our values of people development: We are committed to developing talent and providing a clear path for professional growth from day one.

  • Offer a collaborative and supportive environment: Our apprentices will work in a culture where curiosity is encouraged, and help is always available.

  • Maximise collaboration: Our São Paulo office is designed to maximise open workspaces, making it easy for you to collaborate with and learn from your team members and other functions.

  • Support youth employment & encourage networking: We are actively invested in contributing to youth employment in Brazil and providing a space where you can build a strong professional network that will last a lifetime.

  • Have impact from day 1: You will be working on projects that have real world impact for our customers.

"What's particularly invaluable is the fresh perspective apprentices bring. They aren't bound by the "that's how we've always done it" mindset. They challenge us to think differently and introduce new ways of working, which helps us stay innovative."

The Apprenticeship roadmap

Our program is built to offer you a comprehensive learning experience that will transform you into a well-rounded and prepared professional, ready to face the challenges of the business world. You’ll have a dedicated mentor assigned to guide you through every step of the program.

Get to know Wise

You will be fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of your team's specific function. This includes:

  • Participating in specialised courses and real-world cases - gaining an understanding of end-to-end processes.

  • Learning independently through internal guides and side-by-side sessions with team members.

  • Be encouraged to participate in all-company team calls, ensuring you understand our mission and feel like an integral part of our organisation from the very beginning.

Develop essential skills

The program is designed to enhance crucial competencies for the business environment. You will have the opportunity to practice and refine skills such as:

  • Time management

  • Effective communication

  • Task prioritisation

These are fundamental skills for productivity and professional success, regardless of your future role.

Apprenticeship Program Details

The apprenticeship contract can be a maximum duration of 2 years.

  • Apprentices typically work up to 6 hours per day.

The program combines theoretical instruction (provided by our training providers) with invaluable practical, on-the-job experience at Wise.

We are proud to be working with the local provider NUBE to ensure the best possible learning experience.

Career growth and future opportunities

The apprenticeship is not just a temporary role - it's the beginning of a potential career journey at Wise.

Pathway to employment: Apprentices who have demonstrated exceptional skills, and a strong commitment to their role are candidates for full-time internship roles when the program and your studies conclude.

Highly transferable skills: The skills and knowledge you gain are invaluable. Your experience with end-to-end processes, time management, and professional communication will give you a significant advantage in the job market, whether you continue your career at Wise or explore other opportunities.

This program is designed to be a springboard, preparing you not just for a specific role, but for a successful and adaptable career in the business world.

"The application process itself was straightforward and felt very human. It was clear that Wise is looking for people who are aligned with who they are and how they work, not just a list of qualifications."

Marcela Paulino Leal,
People Apprentice

You will be joining a supportive environment in our vibrant São Paulo office. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, proactive, and ready to embrace the Wise culture and values.
