Job Description

We’re looking for a KYC Project Manager to join our KYC Implementation Team that sits under our new Transformation, Governance and Strategy function in Tallinn or in Budapest. The KYC Project Manager is someone who oversees cross-functional work areas focusing on the resolution of issues from customers and internal teams. Your mission is to manage service operations improvement and transformation projects for clients, ensuring the satisfaction of operational needs for both the KYC OPS team and Wise customers, while serving as liaisons between stakeholders on assigned projects.

🔑 The key responsibilities as the KYC Project Manager are the following:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to develop project plans, including project scope, release schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Manage effective project implementation and delivery.
  • Oversee project activities to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Track and monitor project execution to ensure stakeholders' requirements are met.
  • Identify and manage resource requirements, skill sets, training plans, quality reviews, documentation, and weekly meetings necessary for project execution.
  • Develop process improvements to meet the needs of the Operations and KYC teams.
  • Strengthen stakeholder relationships by providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
  • Validate project plans and schedules to incorporate any changes requested by internal teams.
  • Coordinate calls, meetings, and communications between stakeholders and the project team throughout the project implementation phase.
  • Regularly update relevant stakeholders on project status, schedules, and key issues.
  • Negotiate project activities with stakeholders when necessary.
  • Maintain and update a database of project-related documents.
  • Inform management about customer needs and business opportunities.

Qualifications

About You:

  • You have excellent verbal and written English skills; additional languages are a plus.
  • You can effectively persuade others, presenting your viewpoints and proposed solutions in a way that helps others make informed decisions.
  • You excel in having effective and efficient decision-making conversations.
  • You are skilled in identifying, creating, and applying processes, methods, knowledge, skills, and experiences to achieve project objectives.
  • You possess strong communication and presentation skills, supporting both internal and external cross-team projects and audits.
  • You operate and lead in alignment with company values.
  • You have a good understanding of team metrics and the ability to analyze and improve them.
  • You have a proven track record of taking ownership and responsibility while being a great team player.
  • You are experienced in or have an interest in working with people from diverse backgrounds.
