Job Description

Salary Ranges: 6,500 SGD Per Month + RSUs

We're seeking a Cards Billing Operations Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial integrity of our card payment operations, with a specific focus on the complex fee structures of major card schemes like Visa and Mastercard. You'll be responsible for both the detailed, day-to-day operational tasks and the strategic data analysis that helps us optimize our financial performance. We're looking for a professional with a strong cards background who can apply their expertise to investigate issues and make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of card scheme fees (Visa and Mastercard) and invoices against internal records to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics related to card scheme fees, incentives, and overall billing performance.
  • Analyse complex fee data to identify billing discrepancies, resolve issues, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of scheme fees and partner fee structures to develop and implement data-driven controls that proactively ensure correct billing.
  • Accurately process and manage incentive programs based on scheme fee structures and contractual agreements.
  • Provide comprehensive audit support by preparing and presenting documentation on scheme fees, billing, and incentive processes for internal and external audits.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in a payments, fintech, or financial services environment, with a strong background in card billing and operations
  • A comprehensive knowledge of card scheme fees (Visa and Mastercard) and their structure within the payment ecosystem
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets, identify trends, and solve complex financial issues.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualisation tools (Looker, Superset, PowerBI, Tableau etc.) 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new systems and fee structures.

  • You’re comfortable working within teams that face complex issues and take charge in difficult situations, such as engineers or product teams.
  • You are a problem-solver, identifying gaps, implementing solutions, and driving continuous improvement.
  • You have experience optimizing processes with internal and external partners, focusing on KPIs and SLAs. 
  • You know how to use data to prioritise tasks that have the most value-add to customers' and measure the impact.
  • You prioritize customers and take initiative to drive results. 
  • A strong communicator, you adapt your style to different audiences.
  • You foster an open, collaborative team environment and are passionate about technology and customer experience. 
  • Skilled at building relationships, you work closely with product teams and external partners, staying curious and committed to learning.
  • Bonus: You’ve worked in card manufacturing or have experience with supply-chain/delivery optimisation.
