Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cards Supply Chain and Delivery Manager to join our Spend Squad to oversee our global logistics and distribution in over 40+ countries. As part of the Spend Squad, your role will primarily focus on providing the best delivery experience by ensuring seamless and timely delivery of our physical cards into customers' hands, guaranteeing satisfaction from start to finish. 

Your mission: 

Wise has already pioneered new ways for people to transfer money across borders and currencies. Our customers can also manage their hard-earned money with the world’s first platform to offer true multi-currency banking and convenient business solutions.

This role sits under Payment Operations organisation supporting Product teams ensure that new and current products, features and processes scale efficiently and securely. 

This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission by contributing to building and supporting operationally sustainable cross-border products and help save millions more people money. 

Here’s how you’ll be contributing to the Operations Team

  • Supply Chain / Delivery Optimization:

    • Analyze supply chain / delivery processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

    • Develop and implement strategies to streamline supply chain operations and optimize inventory management. i.e centralised and distribution model for our card manufacturing footprint

    • Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery experience for our customers surrounding speed, transparency and cost.

  • Contract Negotiation:

    • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions.

    • Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure contracts are compliant and aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Vendor Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, fostering collaboration and driving performance improvements.

    • Monitor vendor performance against key metrics and SLAs, implementing corrective actions as needed.

    • Conduct regular vendor reviews and assessments to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to analyze supply chain data and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

    • Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards on supply chain performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks and disruptions within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.

    • Monitor market trends, geopolitical factors, and other external influences that may affect supply chain operations.

  • Provide operational support

    • Work closely with our Cards Operations team to orchestrate the seamless flow of logistics and daily processes to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of cards to our customers

    • Act as the first level escalation point from Operational teams if they are facing blockers on delivery operational matters

Qualifications

A bit about you:

  • You are a Singaporean Citizen/ Permanent Resident of Singapore

  • You have prior experience in managing the delivery of physical products to end-user customers

  • You hold a strong understanding of the logistics domain and execution of the delivery supply chain and its related tools that could streamline transportation and inventory maintenance

  • You’re well-experienced in global vendor management. You have worked with vendors that are located in or one that serves multiple countries. You are able to ensure alignment and foster closer collaboration between organisation and vendors

  • You possess strong analytical skills by using data-driven insights for process optimization. You define your priorities according to data and customer needs. Before you start a project you understand what success looks like and track your progress towards this vision.

  • You have relevant experience working in operations and led cross functional projects that drive efficiency and scaling of manual work

  • You understand operational risks and are able to mitigate them proactively

  • You are humble, self-aware, positive and solution-driven. You admit when things don't go well and share learning with the team

  • You have excellent written and verbal English skills

  • You are flexible with your working hours to work with teams in different time zones

  • You’re a great communicator, straight up, clear and honest. You can adapt your communication style to different audiences. You’re able to persuade others and you aren’t afraid to challenge something when you need to

  • You enjoy being part of an inspiring team environment where ideas are shared and openness is valued. You’re comfortable and composed when either giving or receiving feedback. You’re eager to provide mentorship where needed. 

  • You’re proactive and a great relationship builder, experienced at working closely with external partners as well as product development teams, including product managers and engineers

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

  • You have a Payments / Cards Operations background

  • You know how to use different processes improvements methodologies


Additional Information

About this role: 

  • Based in Wise's Singapore Office

  • Must be comfortable with travelling for work

  • Salary: Starting from 7,400 SGD gross monthly

  • RSUs
