Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Creative Strategist with a strong knowledge in performance and direct response (DR) creative. 

Your mission: 

As part of the Insights & Planning team within Brand & Creative, you will act as a commercial partner to our Media and Creative teams. 

You’ll work on global performance campaigns across the UK, Europe, the Americas, and APAC markets. Helping solve how Wise can deliver world-class DR creative across these markets.

In this role you’ll:

  • Live and breathe paid social and display creative – providing a strong point-of-view on how Wise should be optimising each channel and how to deliver world-class creative
  • Lead Wise’s ongoing creative strategy for paid social and display in all markets for mid/lower funnel – driving our test & learn agenda, interrogating data, interpreting and presenting insights, and translating this into compelling creative briefs
  • Along with our in-house Media team, be responsible for overall performance of paid social and display creative globally – ensuring the creative is on brief and hits KPIs
  • Build tight relationships with our in-house Creative, Insights & Planning, Paid Digital, and Regional Marketing teams – investing time in understanding their challenges and presenting opportunities for DR channels and creative to solve these
  • Proactively whipping up energy across the Global Marketing team to build excitement, credibility and trust in the channels you own – ultimately leading to inspiring, impressive and effective creative work

A bit about you:

  • You have a deep understanding of how DR performance channels work, (especially Meta, TikTok, Google and The Trade Desk), along with a strong understanding of the role of brand and creative. 
  • You’ll have a solid understanding of when to use brand creative vs leaning on UGC
  • You will be adept at navigating the intersection of data and creativity – very confident with numbers and analytics, but with an excellent instinct for powerful and effective digital creative. 
  • You will act as the intermediary between Media and Creative teams, translating numerical insights and business requirements into clear, actionable, and inspiring creative briefs. 
  • You have excellent knowledge of how creative drives commercial results at the conversion stage of the marketing funnel, and are well-positioned to keep the Wise Marketing tribe up-to-date with the latest creative and platform trends and developments
