Job Description

In this role, you’ll partner closely with Senior Advisors to support the execution of Employee Relations processes and help manage day-to-day ER activities with accuracy and care.

Your mission

You’ll support Senior Advisors in managing sensitive people matters — helping ensure cases and processes are handled with consistency, efficiency, and care.

Whether assisting with workplace investigations, supporting behavioral or performance concerns, or helping maintain scalable ER processes, you’ll contribute to delivering fair and timely outcomes.

This role blends coordination, execution, and collaboration responsibilities, supporting teams as they navigate cross-border complexities with guidance from Senior Advisors. You’ll apply sound judgment, attention to detail, and empathy in your work — ensuring processes are followed and information is handled with integrity.

You’ll also contribute to global collaboration efforts by supporting ER initiatives, maintaining documentation, and helping scale consistent practices across regions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the management of ER cases across the Americas — assisting with investigations, whistleblower matters, performance, conduct, accommodations, attendance, policy guidance, and issues involving legal or regulatory risk

  • Support workplace investigations by coordinating interviews, taking notes, organizing documentation, and maintaining accurate and complete case files in alignment with Wise’s global standards and regional labor laws

  • Provide timely and reliable support on sensitive people issues — reinforcing guidance from Senior Advisors and helping ensure actions are followed through effectively

  • Help resolve concerns early and informally where possible — supporting Wisers and Leads with practical, people-centered approaches

  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and People Partners by gathering relevant information and supporting risk assessment and case resolution processes

  • Maintain ER data and case tracking systems — ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely updates, and supporting the identification of trends and risks

  • Support global and regional ER initiatives — including policy updates, process improvements, case management enhancements, training coordination, and cross-border alignment efforts

  • Assist in preparing and coordinating training sessions and tools that help managers lead with clarity, fairness, and consistency

  • Support the review and maintenance of regional employee guidelines and processes, ensuring documentation aligns with Brazilian CLT, Mexican labor law, U.S. practices, and broader regional norms

  • Collaborate across the global People team by supporting coordination, documentation, and knowledge sharing to help build consistent ER practices at scale

Qualifications

This role is for you if you:

  • Have 3–5 years of experience in ER/HR Advisor or Generalist roles, with exposure to employee relations casework or HR operations

  • Have experience supporting employee relations cases, with exposure to areas such as performance, conduct, attendance, accommodations, and policy-related matters

  • Have a foundational knowledge of Brazilian labor law (CLT) and general understanding of employment practices; familiarity with U.S. or LATAM contexts is a plus

  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across teams in different regions and time zones

  • Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence, attention to detail, and a structured, solutions-oriented approach in day-to-day work

  • Are comfortable supporting leaders by reinforcing guidance and helping ensure consistent application of ER practices

  • Are comfortable working in dynamic environments, using judgment to prioritize tasks and escalate when needed

  • Are comfortable working with data, maintaining accurate records, and supporting reporting and insights generation

  • Are confident using tools like Workday, Slack, Google Suite, Lucidchart, Monday.com, and Jira and quick to adapt to new platforms

Bonus if you have:

  • Fluency in Spanish, in addition to English and Portuguese

  • Experience working in hybrid, global organizations, especially those scaling or operating across multiple regions

  • Exposure to working across different cultures or regions, with willingness to learn and develop in a global environment
