A bit about the role:

As an Accountant in the General Accounting team, you will contribute to our mission by ensuring the accounting is accurate, complete, and in accordance with IFRSs and US GAAP  to meet our reporting needs as a publicly listed company. Your mission will include the following activities:

• Actively participate in month-end activities, mainly focusing on accruals, COGS, revenue and other adjustments related to product. 

• Collaborate with various finance and product teams to calculate accurate estimates and accruals as well as perform controls over our financials. 

• Engage in creating and improving internal accounting policies in your domain.

• Manage and maintain high-quality documentation for all manual calculation 

processes and entries created.

• Engage in numerous improvement projects aimed at making accounting processes more reliable, efficient and automated.

• Participate in the external audit by responding to external auditors’ questions and information requests.

• Assist in the preparation of group-wide consolidated financial statements.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

• Develop in-depth knowledge in accounting – Get to know many teams from finance and product as you partner with them to complete the month-end tasks and improvement projects.

• Work in an international Finance Team and learn a lot about Finance, financial technology and driving financial sustainability of a fast growing company.

A bit about you:

• You have at least 3  years of experience in accounting, financial controlling or audit, and have developed a good understanding of the core accounting principles ( IFRS or US GAAP knowledge would be a benefit).

• You work well under time pressure

• You have advanced data processing skills (expert in Excel is a must, SQL would be an advantage), and the ability to understand complex spreadsheets and create efficient, reliable calculations with built-in controls, easy scaling and updating capabilities. Experience working with large volumes of data. 

• You’re accurate and pay attention to detail. You enjoy owning your work and taking charge of projects when needed. You are keen to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.

• You have excellent  written and verbal English skills.

Salary range - 2,700 to 3,100 EURO's (gross monthly) + RSU's
