We need a Front-End Engineer to join our mission and help us build a global platform that’s scalable, reliable and secure. We’re working on lots of exciting challenges, and you’ll dive right into projects helping consumers and businesses receive and send money from anywhere in the world. 

Team you will be working with: Business Send 

In Business Send, our mission is to make Wise the first choice for international businesses to pay their vendors, staff, and contractors across the globe conveniently, reliably and at a low cost.

Our team owns products like batch payments, payment approvals and bill payments. With each of them, businesses move hundreds of millions pounds every month, and the volumes continue to grow 50-90% YoY!

We’re currently making the process of sending money for businesses (especially ones who send a lot) more flexible, transparent and seamless across the board for cases when a payment can take time.

• Solid understanding of JavaScript and browser technologies

• Experience with UI libraries, such as React

• Experience building delightful user experiences

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non-engineers

• Ability to both collaborate effectively with your team and solve problems independently and proactively

It would be a bonus if you also have:

• Knowledge about product engineering, or have the desire to learn it

• Experience in back-end development (Java, Spring is a plus)

• Experience with TypeScript. Node.js, and SSR frameworks (such as Next.js)

• Strong sense of good UX and design, and great attention to detail

• Share our passion for accessible web applications
