As a Junior Accountant in the General Accounting team, you will contribute to our mission by ensuring the accounting is accurate, complete, and in accordance with IFRSs to meet our reporting needs as a publicly listed company. Your mission will include the following activities:
Assist the team in month-end activities by organising relevant meetings, tracking the progress of month-end closings and supporting the team with booking accounting entries.
Collaborate with various finance and other teams to gain an understanding of transactions and help calculate accurate accruals for month-end.
Post month-end perform relevant controls, investigating discrepancies and calculating and booking journal entries into the accounting system as needed.
Maintain high-quality documentation for all manual calculations and accounting entries you perform.
Participate in the improvement projects aimed at making accounting processes more reliable, efficient and automated.
Support the team during the external audit by responding to external auditors’ questions and information requests.
Assist in the preparation of group-wide consolidated financial statements.

Develop in-depth knowledge in accounting – Get to know many teams from finance and product as you partner with them to complete the month-end tasks and improvement projects.
Work in an international Finance Team and learn a lot about Finance, financial technology and driving financial sustainability of a fast growing company.
You have some experience or educational background in accounting, financial controlling or audit, with a basic understanding of the core accounting principles (knowledge of the IFRS or US GAAP is a plus).
You have strong data processing skills with proficiency in Excel and can handle complex spreadsheets.
You are detail-oriented, accurate and enjoy taking ownership of your work.
You are eager to learn and are open to communicating with different teams on a day to day basis.
You have good written and verbal English skills.
