We’re on the hunt for a Lead Data Analyst to join our Safeguarding team in Shoreditch, London. You’ll be part of a team that’s foundational to the Wise product and mission!
What you’ll be doing:
Curating datasets, surfacing metrics, sizing opportunities, and deeper dive analysis to discover inefficiencies and optimise the team’s approach to Safeguarding
Building and maintaining critical data pipelines
Performing data reconciliations and hunting down and explaining discrepancies
Liaising with FX, Liquidity and Operations teams to understand how to improve Safeguarding processes to achieve lower costs and risks and these areas
Possibility to lead one other analyst within the team
Who you are:
Advanced SQL and data modelling skills
Proven experience building data pipelines
Strong analytical ability
3-5 years experience in similar roles
Data visualisation and storytelling ability
Ability to self organise and manage stakeholders
Demonstration of impact/going above and beyond basic role requirements
Python/R for data manipulation and analysis
Understanding of stats and statistical modelling (measures of central tendency, understanding of variance and testing, some regression modelling)
Mathematical background
Desirable:
DBT
Data modelling in a warehouse context
Experience working in a highly-regulated and audited environment
Experience working with Financial data and ledgers
