Job Description

We’re looking for a People Projects Adviser with project management experience to join our growing People function. This role is based in Tallinn and sits within the People Programmes, Experience and Analytics team which is responsible for helping to build a high-performing people function.

We aim to apply the principles that guide our external products and offerings - transparent, convenient, fast and eventually free) - to our 'people products' as well. This role plays an important part in achieving that goal. This role will partner with stakeholders from across the People function and wider Wise organisation to successfully drive high-impact projects, as well as to embed and continuously improve project delivery practices in the People function.

This isn’t a job for someone who wants to maintain the status quo. Instead this role will suit someone who wants to collaborate to solve problems, help build something new and work at pace. It’s also a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission and support our employees through their Wise journey.

In this role, you’ll contribute to the People team by:

  • Directly managing People projects from initiation through to closure to ensure they are delivered successfully and have meaningful impact on our business.

  • Assisting senior team members leading the largest and most complex projects by providing hands-on project support as needed.

  • Becoming an expert user of Monday.com (our project management tool) to support colleagues across the People function in using this tool effectively to manage projects.

  • Supporting the People team planning process through working with functional teams to prepare information, helping with coordination and running of planning events and ensuring confirmed plans and projects are set up into Monday.com so we can track our progress..

  • Supporting our team’s efforts to increase the project management capability of the People team by contributing to training initiatives, communications, and maintaining knowledge management content, templates and guides.

  • Building and maintaining trusted partnerships across the People team to enable collaboration, delivery and success on projects.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Develop as part of a growing team. The People Programmes, Experience & Analytics team has the privilege of working across the entire People function on high-impact projects; you will be an integral part of the team’s evolution and have lots of opportunity to both learn from others in the team and contribute to how we work as a team.

  • Be part of our mission to make Money Without Borders the new normal

Qualifications

About you:

  • You have demonstrable experience working in a project environment - you understand the stages of a project and how to lead work that has a measurable impact. You will have project management experience, either as a project manager or perhaps in a project coordinator/support role.

  • You’re structured and organised - you can structure and manage your own work effectively and bring a high level of organisation and discipline to managing project work.

  • You’re an effective communicator - you know how to communicate effectively and thoughtfully, by varying your style based on the circumstance.

  • You are data-driven - you’ll base decisions on metrics and have clear success measures for your work.

  • You have a collaborative mindset and think globally - you are excellent at working across functions and geographies, able to bring people together to achieve a common goal.

  • You’re a creative and adaptive problem-solver - we are not a one-size-fits-all kind of business and we’re not looking for generic solutions; we need you to think creatively and be able to adapt your approach to the situation.

  • You have experience, or interest in, working in a People function - you have managed People projects before, or you have a strong interest in doing so.

Some extra skills and experience that would be great:

  • You might have used Monday.com for project management before

  • You might have some experience with business analysis, data analysis or change management

  • You might have worked in a high growth, product or service led (ideally tech) company
