Job Description

We’re looking for a Platform Due Diligence Team Lead to join our growing team in Tallinn. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission.


Your Mission:

Platform Due Diligence Team Lead’s role specializes in the ongoing support for the operational agents working with integrated strategic partners and their end customers. Integrated strategic partners are organizations aiming to use Wise’s platform for their customer-base to offer the Wise experience to solve their customers needs. PDD Team Lead’s goal is to ensure that proper KYC control related tasks are performed efficiently and up to our internal standards, managing daily operations, capacity, forecasting and performance (team and individual) against the prior.  By doing so, they mitigate the possible risk that comes with our Platform Solutions and help Wise Platform scale up while remaining compliant with our license providers and regulators.
 

Here’s how you’ll be contributing to the team:

  • Provides expert level support to internal team members and stakeholders while having vast knowledge in all internal processes;

  • Improve existing processes by providing daily feedback to all Platform related teams  (onboarding, tooling, training, mentoring);

  • Collaborates with other Due Diligence teams to expand PDD coverage to all necessary regions;

  • Keep up to date with updates and changes in Wise’s internal risk-based approach to KYC/CDD;

  • Escalates and flag concerns and SLA breaches to relevant oversight teams;

  • Assist Partner Oversight team in Partner quality Analysis. Give expert feedback based on the team’s findings to the Oversight team and support Partner escalations with concrete data;

  • Understands how to roadmap processes and builds/keeps up with ongoing updates for team knowledge base (Wikis);

  • Improve or request for needed tooling and roadmap requirements for needed tooling (understands what to ask for);

  • Relates Feedback to Platform Teams understand partner due diligence needs with regards to process creation, team staffing/hiring, and tooling;

  • Team Lead Admin - Hiring, Scheduling Trainings, Agent support, Growth.

  • Provides support for team members carrier development and paths.


Qualifications

  • Are currently eligible to work in Tallinn, Estonia (and ideally already based in Estonia)

  • At least 1 year of people leadership experience

  • Excellent written and verbal English, other languages are a plus.

  • Expert knowledge of Wise KYC/CDD operational processes;

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and self-organize;

  • Strong communicator with ability to build and manage cross-team relationships;

  • Punctual, independent, self-starter with the ability to get things done;

  • Strong analytical skills associated with KYC - Microsoft Tools, Looker, Sales Force, Jira, Confluence, Workday, Calabrio, Paycom, knowledge;

  • Able to negotiate with other teams for team benefit.
