Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money.
Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.
Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.
As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.
For everyone, everywhere.
More about our mission and what we offer.
Your Mission
As a Principal Implementation Manager in the KYC & Onboarding domain, you will oversee large-scale implementations that touch millions of customers. You’ll ensure regional KYC/KYB teams and central Product/Data/Compliance operate as one system — with shared KPIs, transparent data, and predictable launch execution.
You will own the successful execution of every piece of our roadmap - be the translation layer between Regional teams, Compliance, Product, Engineering and Data — turning ambiguity into measurable plans, trusted dashboards, and decisions.
How You’ll Contribute
Planning & Scoping
Review existing flows to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Build visibility over KYC/KYB performance and compliance health: define KPIs, establish metric ownership, improve data quality, and publish clear, decision-ready reporting
Shape and maintain the KYC/Onboarding implementation roadmap.
Execution & Delivery
KYC/KYB performance operating system: KPI definitions, metric governance, launch scorecards, regional cadence, and a single source of truth for performance & risk signals
Coordinate regional KYC/KYB leads across time zones: align priorities, unblock execution, and ensure local constraints (process/regulatory/ops) are reflected early — not discovered at launch
Ensure onboarding controls, data flows, metrics and compliance requirements are correctly implemented end-to-end.
Standardise regional rollout playbooks so compliance controls are repeatable across markets
Risk, Compliance & Support
Maintain a transparent metrics & knowledge hub: metric definitions, data lineage, dashboards, ‘what changed’ notes, and weekly performance narratives stakeholders actually trust
Own the regional escalation & resolution loop for KYC/KYB compliance pain points: triage, root-cause with Product/Data/Eng, track fixes to closure, and prevent recurrence through standards and monitoring
Own quality and control standards for onboarding integrations and partner-driven changes.
This Role Will Give You the Opportunity To
Become an expert in global onboarding, regulations, identity verification, fraud mitigations, and partner integrations.
Work autonomously, creating your path to impact while collaborating with smart, curious colleagues across Wise.
Work with modern systems, real-time decisioning engines, KYC providers, and market-specific onboarding flows.
Shape customer safety globally, ensuring Wise onboards millions of customers in a compliant and scalable way.
Be at the heart of Wise’s expansion, supporting new products, features, and geographies.
