Wise is looking for a Product Lead for Identity Platform to join our team in London, Budapest, or Tallinn. You'll be a pivotal leader, responsible for crafting the vision and strategy for our core identity platform. Your work will focus on essential areas like onboarding (KYC), financial crime risk, and other regulatory obligations.
This is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on our mission. By leading the product roadmap for our Identity Platform, you will enable us to build a faster, cheaper, and more transparent financial system for everyone, ensuring we can deliver on our promises at scale.
Job Description
- You're a product leader whose mission is to build a world-class platform for storing and orchestrating all user information at Wise, enabling every product team at Wise to ship new products faster and more effectively, enabling every operational team to utilize user data in a reliable, privacy-friendly way, and enabling risk and compliance teams to have full oversight of users. You are responsible for crafting a compelling vision for this platform, translating it into clear, measurable goals, and inspiring your teams to achieve them.
- You'll lead the creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the product roadmap, working directly with empowered teams to define the product's direction. Your role is to communicate a long-term strategy with gravitas, while also keeping the team aligned and focused on near-term goals and milestones.
- You will lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence. You'll be responsible for their growth and development, guiding them in setting a high bar for product strategy, execution, and user empathy. Your leadership will ensure the team is empowered to make independent decisions while remaining aligned with our broader business objectives.
- You will act as a key advisor and collaborator on deeply technical topics, helping to distill complex concepts and ensure technical decisions align with the broader product strategy - aligning with the vision, roadmap, and stakeholder expectations.
- You'll serve as the central point of contact, collaborating closely with growth teams to understand their goals and needs. By staying connected to their challenges, you'll ensure the platform you're building directly supports their objectives and fuels the company's overall growth. You are the ultimate owner of the platform's vision, ensuring it remains both a foundational enabler and a powerful growth engine for the entire business.
