Your core focus will be to develop and implement recruitment strategies, elevate workforce planning and vendor management, partner with stakeholders, and lead the team from both a people leadership and operational perspective. You’ll act as a change agent, continuously improving the quality, scalability, and automation of our recruitment practices while ensuring an excellent candidate and stakeholder experience.

Culture is everything to us at Wise and identifying, attracting and selecting the best talent to support our highly collaborative and non-hierarchical culture is key to our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • TA–WFM partnership and operational excellence: Be the TA partner to Workforce Management. Help translate WFM demand/capacity plans into actionable recruiting plans; running regular joint reviews to surface risks and trade‑offs; and drive continuous improvement across the TA–WFM–Ops partnership.

  • Vendor management: in collaboration with our Talent Ops team, align vendor capacity and intake windows to WFM forecasts; set suitable SLAs and governance with WFM and Ops; monitoring quality/cost/speed whilst adjusting as required.

  • Team leadership: Lead, coach and grow a multi-location team per our talent advisory model, providing operational and strategic guidance.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Meet regularly with Servicing Ops leaders on quarterly hiring plans; providing market intel and data to guide decisions.

  • Process improvement and automation: Map and improve handoffs between TA, WFM and Ops; automating data flows and reporting to enable high-performance hiring.

  • Stakeholder and candidate experience: Ensure consistently great experience and uphold Wise values at every step.

  • DEI: Role-model DEI best practices and embed diversity into our recruiting philosophy.

  • Regional/global initiatives and local leadership: Lead regional recruitment projects, contribute to global TA initiatives, be an active leader in Tallinn and foster tight collaboration with Budapest.

Qualifications

About You:

  • Extensive experience building and leading recruitment teams in volume hiring, especially across CS, KYC, AML/FinCrime, and Operations.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience with proven senior stakeholder management.

  • Proven experience partnering with Workforce Management/Operations Planning teams to convert forecasts into recruiting plans and improve end‑to‑end processes.

  • Demonstrated vendor management expertise (RPO/BPO/agency): selection, contracts, SLAs, and performance management.

  • Subject-matter expert in recruitment operations; you turn ideas and best practices into scalable ways of working.

  • Comfortable influencing in matrixed, multicultural environments; coach, negotiator, and servant leader mindset.

  • Data-driven decision-making; you build narratives with data and measure impact.

Key Attributes:

  • Data Driven: You’re able to use data to build narratives and influence change. You can make evidence-based decisions and you’re able to use data to measure impact.

  • Flexible & Adaptable: You’re able to switch effectively between tasks and deal with a constantly-changing workload and priorities.

  • Growth Mindset: You role-model curiosity, always seeking to understand.

  • Big Thinker: You understand the impact of your work on the success of the company. You’re able to create well-thought-through action plans built around the big picture. You consider others and you’re aware of the impact your work has on other teams. You’re always thinking and planning for scalable and sustainable solutions.
