Job Description

Join our dynamic North America Send and Onboarding team at Wise, where we prioritize creating exceptional onboarding experiences for US and Canadian customers, as well as anyone globally sending USD or CAD. Our team is dedicated to crafting a seamless and intuitive profile onboarding flow, ensuring our verification processes are compliant, efficient, and cost-effective. Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding Flow Development: Design, build, and maintain intuitive onboarding experiences using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API services, targeting smooth navigation for US and Canadian customers sending USD and CAD. Prioritize user-friendly, compliant, and efficient processes to streamline account creation and verification.

  • Verification System Optimization: Continuously analyze and enhance verification processes to ensure compliance, minimize friction, and reduce costs while maintaining system robustness and reliability.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, compliance, and customer support teams to prioritize projects that enhance customer onboarding. Leverage strong communication skills to effectively manage expectations and deliver seamless integration of new features.

  • CI/CD and Deployment: Use Docker and Kubernetes for deploying scalable onboarding solutions, implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions to streamline the development lifecycle.

  • Distributed Systems and Scalability: Utilize knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture to ensure that onboarding processes can scale with increasing demand, maintaining excellent performance and reliability.

  • Performance Optimization: Engage in query optimization and schema design for relational databases, including MySQL, MariaDB, and Postgres, to ensure efficient data handling.

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: With a sharp focus on customer needs, leverage a data-driven approach to make strategic decisions that drive the success of our onboarding and send services, fostering a seamless customer journey from the outset

Please Note:

Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services is essential. Familiarity in front-end development using React and caching solutions like Redis and Caffeine is beneficial. Additionally, willingness to travel and collaborate with team members in different global offices is expected.
