As a Talent Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Talent strategy at Wise. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to provide high-impact development opportunities that enhance capabilities, boost performance, and support career progression. You will proactively work with leaders to craft scalable learning interventions, while ensuring the success of training and offsite events.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate global programmes and regional off-sites
Develop and execute the global and/or functional learning strategy at the squad level
Conduct Learning Needs Analysis biannually and on an ad-hoc basis
Provide data and insights during MBRs and QBRs for relevant stakeholders on all learning activities of supported group(s)
Work with regional teams to ensure training delivery in supported locations
Drive engagement for global learning initiatives within supported assignment(s)
Support coaching and mentoring requests for the region and coach and mentor new team members
Serve as local POC for a core product, such as a leadership programme, Company Onboarding, Learning Hub
Ensure regular cadence of content updates and program enhancements as needed
Your Experience:
Proven experience in Learning & Development, with a strong focus on business partnering, ideally within a matrix organisation
Experience in needs analysis, stakeholder management, and implementing the regionally relevant aspects of global strategies
Track record of contributing to successful learning initiatives and programmes, with a focus on scalable solutions
Experience in designing and facilitating workshops and training programs
Core skills:
Strong proficiency in project management and design thinking
Consultative approach to problem-solving, applying data-driven insights to create tailored solutions
Confidence in interpreting data and producing data-led, visually compelling presentations
Organised, detail-focused, and able to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy
Adept at stakeholder management, communicating effectively with diverse teams to encourage collaboration
Experience in virtual and international environments, including hybrid teams
Excellent command of English; additional language skills are an advantage

Aware of important developments within the business and industry trends relating to people and organisational development
Strategic mindset in developing talent initiatives, understanding the bigger picture and how individual actions fit into the broader suite of talent development services
Comfortable navigating uncertainty and rapid change; adaptable to evolving business needs
Proactive and self-starting, anticipating potential challenges or opportunities and proposing solutions
Willingness to contribute beyond one’s own role, collaborating with colleagues to achieve collective objectives
Enthusiasm for collecting, processing, and applying data to streamline workflows and drive successful team projects
Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate large-scale initiatives
Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for high-quality, visually appealing deliverables
