Job Description

The opportunity

Own the systems that power how Wise onboards third parties, signs contracts, and pays them. You’ll simplify processes, ship automation through configuration, and make the third-party lifecycle faster and safer.

Wise works with a wide range of partners, including third-party vendors and banking service providers, managing contracts and approvals across the board. This role improves the systems and workflows behind that lifecycle. You’ll design and deliver process automation across procurement, third-party risk, contracting (CLM), and intragroup service flows, using the business tools we run at Wise.

This is not a software engineering role: you won’t write code or manage engineers. You’ll deliver outcomes through problem framing (discovery and design), process refinements, hands-on platform configuration, governance, integrations with partner teams/vendors, testing, release management, and training.

If you enjoy turning complex operational work into simple, automated workflows - and shipping real changes - you’ll thrive here.

What you’ll be doing

You will own the full lifecycle of improving how Wise onboards third parties and manages contracts - from finding the problem, to shipping the change in our tools, to making sure it works end-to-end across teams.

  • Discover & design processes: Understand the current journey, find the biggest blockers, and design simpler workflows/processes across onboarding, third-party risk, contracting, renewals, offboarding, and related TPM processes.

  • Build & ship changes (hands-on): Configure our platforms to implement what you designed - build, test, and release improvements safely (no coding required). You’ll also partner with an implementation team/vendor support when needed to deliver faster.

  • Own the domain as a product: Take accountability for multiple TPM tools/areas - maintain a clear backlog, make prioritisation decisions, and ensure the team ships work that improves cycle time, quality, and control.

  • Enable & align stakeholders: Make your changes stick - document, train, drive adoption, and run lightweight governance so the tools stay reliable. You’ll be the go-to owner for your platforms.

What success looks like

  • Third Party Lifecycle related process are faster with fewer manual steps

  • Changes ship safely with high adoption and low rework

  • Stakeholders have clear metrics to steer priorities

  • You’re a trusted partner across Procurement, Third Party Risk and Finance

Qualifications

What you will need

  • Hands-on platform delivery: you have configured/administered business systems or workflow tools and shipped changes yourself

  • Strong problem framing: you can go from ambiguity → clear scope → user stories → acceptance criteria

  • Cross-functional delivery: you can drive outcomes with stakeholders, our tooling vendors, and partner teams

  • Strong communication: you write clear docs/specs and explain complex topics in simple terms and are able to speak in front of wider teams.

  • Quality mindset: you care about testing, releases, and long-term reliability (not just “shipping”)

Nice to have

  • Experience in procurement, third-party risk, vendor onboarding, CLM/contracts, finance ops, or compliance workflows

  • Process mapping / service design (journey mapping, BPMN)

  • Integration mindset (systems dependencies, data flows, APIs at a conceptual level)

  • Experience working with the tooling vendors and how to manage the relationship and get the best out from the product.

  • Experience building reporting when tools aren’t perfect (pragmatic, iterative approach)

What we are not looking for

  • Strategy-only roles with no shipping track record

  • Pure project management roles without hands-on tooling/configuration delivery

  • Candidates who avoid tools, ambiguity, or cross-functional work
