Job Description

We are looking for a brilliant problem-solver to lead the transformation of our entire third-party management and procurement landscape and systems. This isn't about writing code; it's about deeply understanding our business needs, challenges, and designing elegant, automated solutions using our powerful suite of platforms.

You will be one of the key figures who connects our third-Party Risk, Legal, Procurement, and Finance teams, acting as the expert translator between their business needs and our technology's capabilities. You'll break down complex needs into logical steps and then use your deep platform knowledge to build seamless, intelligent workflows and processes. While you won't manage people, you will lead the most critical cross-functional processes at Wise, making us faster, smarter, and safer.

What You'll Do

Your responsibilities will span the full lifecycle of a solution, from initial idea to long-term success. Your key activities will include:

  • Strategize & Design: You'll lead initiatives to map and simplify some of our most complex end-to-end processes. This covers the entire third-party lifecycle, from initial risk assessments and onboarding to contract renewals, performance management, invoicing, and eventual offboarding. You will work with senior stakeholders to find the true sources of friction and design scalable, user-friendly workflows and processes.

  • Build & Automate: You will perform hands-on configuration of our platforms to build, test, and deploy the solutions you designed, leveraging practical AI capabilities where they can make a real impact.

  • Integrate & Report: You will oversee the flow of data between our key systems by collaborating closely with integration teams, and build the data solutions that give leadership clear, real-time insights into risk and efficiency.

  • Enable & Govern: You will own the solutions you create. This includes developing clear documentation, training our wider teams, and driving user adoption. You will also manage the ongoing health and governance of the platforms, acting as the primary point of contact for these tools.

Success in This Role Looks Like:

  • A dramatic reduction in manual processes and a shorter, simpler vendor onboarding and procurement process.

  • High user adoption of, and satisfaction with, the new platforms and processes.

  • Stakeholders have clear, reliable data and dashboards, with a focus on KPIs to drive decisions.

  • You effectively collaborate with key stakeholders, learn from their feedback, and are seen as the trusted advisor for improving our third-party management processes.

Qualifications

As a natural problem-solver, you thrive on untangling complex workflows and turning them into simple, automated solutions. You are a master of both process design and platform technology, with a focus on the third-party management lifecycle. This role is a great fit if you have:

  • Deep Process Expertise: Proven skill in mapping business processes (e.g., BPMN) and redesigning them from a user-centric perspective.

  • Hands-On Platform Mastery: Experience configuring and administering major enterprise platforms (like CLM, TPRM, or Procurement systems) without writing custom code. We’ll help you get up to speed on our specific internal tools.

  • A Systems Integration Mindset: The ability to see how different systems should connect and to collaborate effectively with technical integration teams to bring that vision to life.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: You excel at listening to stakeholder needs, articulating complex ideas in simple terms, and guiding diverse groups toward a common solution.

  • Domain Knowledge (A Significant Plus): While not a mandatory requirement, a strong background in the transformation of procurement and/or third-party risk management lifecycle is a major advantage. You'll be able to make an impact much faster if you already know the key steps, challenges, and pain points when it comes to the third-party lifecycle.

Additional Information

Why Join Us?

  • You’ll be stepping into a dynamic role that offers new challenges and opportunities to make an impact.

  • With our supportive team environment, you’ll have the freedom to propose new ideas and see them come to life.

  • We are a small but fast-growing team that allows great performers to advance quickly and be highly visible.

  • You can learn and directly contribute to program and process enhancements.

  • You are ready to face challenges in a dynamic environment where we view challenges as opportunities.

If you're interested in the position, please apply by submitting your CV and Cover Letter. In your cover letter, please answer the following questions:

Imagine Wise already uses a modern tool for our vendor InfoSec (Information Security) assessments. However, the process is still slow. Our key bottleneck is that it takes vendors a very long time to fill out the security questionnaires, which delays the end to end onboarding process.

Your first task is to solve this. Instead of jumping to a final answer, please outline your approach:

  1. What are the first few steps you would take to diagnose why the vendors are so slow to complete the assessments?

  2. Based on what you might find, briefly describe two different types of solutions you would propose. (For example, one solution might be a process change, while another could be a technical change within our existing tool).

For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders  — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.

We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.
Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
