How you’ll contribute to our team of product analysts: 

As a Data Analytics Intern, you'll join our team of passionate product analysts and engineers, helping us scale Wise to reach hundreds of millions more customers. You'll play a key role in building robust data pipelines and empowering teams with self-serve analytics, enabling faster, smarter decisions across the company.

Here's what you'll be doing day-to-day:

• Build scalable data pipelines that power our analytics and product decisions.

• Enable self-serve analytics by creating intuitive, scalable data models and tools (e.g. Dashboards), helping stakeholders quickly find the insights they need.

• Dive into data to uncover insights that help prioritize impactful product improvements for our customers.

• Collaborate closely with product teams, analysts, and engineers, contributing your ideas and proactively solving real-world challenges.

What does it take? These things are essential:

• You're available to intern for 6 months from June 2025

• You’re eligible to work in Singapore without sponsorship

• You're currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, STEM, Economics).

• You have knowledge of data modeling fundamentals and ideally some experience designing and implementing data structures.

• You're proficient in SQL and comfortable working with relational databases.

• You're a clear communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical teammates.

• You're naturally curious, proactive, and eager to learn.

• You're open-minded and value feedback as a way to continuously improve.

Bonus points if you have (but don't worry if you don't):

• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)

• Experience with a scripting language such as Python or R for data analysis

• Experience with data transformation frameworks like dbt (data build tool)

• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow

• Experience with improving data quality, identifying and resolving inaccuracies or discrepancies

• Previous internships or projects in data engineering, analytics engineering, or technical data roles, especially in fintech or tech environments.
