Job Description

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Liquidity team in London.

You’ll be part of a team that fundamentally powers the Wise product and mission!

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll be one of the owners of Liquidity’s core data models, ensuring data and analytics assets are accurate, comprehensive, discoverable and leveraged by finance and product teams

  • You’ll derive actionable insights from Treasury’s data to inform product decisions, from adjusting pricing on a product to reflect cost more accurately to designing controls for risk mitigation in stressed scenarios
     

  • You’ll work with other analysts, data scientists and engineers to improve the Tech and processes that power liquidity management at Wise

  • You’ll partner with Product Managers, Controllers, and other Analysts to set KPIs and KRIs for Liquidity and monitor the impact of new product features on risk and liquidity availability

  • You’ll need to build relationships with teams across the company, from finance and engineering to our customer support, operations, design and more

Who you are:

  • Advanced SQL skills

  • Python/R for data manipulation and analysis

  • Experience building data pipelines

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business requests into clear analytical problems

  • Data visualisation and storytelling ability

  • Understanding of stats and statistical modelling (measures of central tendency, understanding of variance and testing, some regression modelling)

  • 3-5 years experience in similar roles

  • Ability to work autonomously and partner with stakeholders

  • Proactive individual who drives continuous improvement

Desirable:

  • DBT experience

  • Familiarity with ledgers or other financial data

  • Experience deploying code changes via Git-based workflows
